We are looking for an experienced and trustworthy Finance Manager who will be responsible for our company’s financial processes in Myanmar and ensure that all legal and internal group requirements are met. The role offers in alignment with the Group Management the opportunity to actively participate in the strategic direction of the company and continuously optimize the financial organization.
Job Descriptions
- Ensuring compliance with all group-wide and local requirements for financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and audits.
- Preparing reports for management and authorities and optimizing financial processes.
- Providing financial advice to management to support strategic decisions.
- Responsibility for bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and accurate documentation of all business transactions.
- Performing credit checks and minimizing risks.
- Timely processing of all tax obligations and fees.
- Monitoring exchange rates and implementing appropriate measures.
- Regular review of inventory costs and conducting inventories.
- Ensuring structured filing of all financial documents.
- Implementation of processes for fraud prevention and compliance with local laws.
- Management and development of direct employee (accountant).
- Taking on additional tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
- University degree or diploma in Finance and/or Accounting.
- 5 years plus and post qualification working experience as an accountant.
- Good command of the English Language both written and spoken & good communication skills.
- Strong administration skills.
- Loyal and trustworthy way of working.
- Additional desirable qualifications.
- Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant from overseas.
- Exposure to manufacturing organizations and standard costing systems.
- Experience with accounting software.
Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
