Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Workforce Management

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations for factory employees, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and exit processes.
  • Plan and manage manpower requirements based on production schedules and capacity planning.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Implement HR policies, SOPs, and procedures aligned with factory operations.
  • Labor Law Compliance & Industrial Relations
  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, factory acts, safety regulations, and employment standards.
  • Liaise with labor authorities, inspectors, and local government offices.
  • Handle labor disputes, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Support collective bargaining, union management, and negotiations if applicable.

Performance Management & Discipline

  • Implement performance evaluation systems for factory staff and supervisors.
  • Manage disciplinary procedures, misconduct cases, and corrective actions.
  • Support line managers in performance improvement and workforce discipline.
  • Ensure fair, transparent, and consistent HR practices across the factory.

Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Coordinate with HSE / Safety teams to promote a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Support implementation of workplace safety programs, audits, and compliance checks.
  • Oversee employee welfare facilities such as canteen, transportation, dormitories, and medical support.
  • Promote employee engagement and well-being initiatives within the factory.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs for operators, technicians, supervisors, and staff.
  • Coordinate technical, safety, and soft-skill training programs.
  • Support succession planning and development of factory leadership.
  • Ensure training records and certifications are properly maintained.

HR Budgeting & Reporting

  • Prepare and manage HR budgets related to manpower, overtime, and training costs.
  • Monitor absenteeism, turnover, productivity, and labor cost ratios.
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Provide insights to improve productivity and workforce efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with strong exposure to factory or manufacturing environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, factory regulations, and industrial relations.
  • Experience managing large workforces, shift systems, and blue-collar employees.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, payroll coordination, and MS Office.

Working Hours: 8:30AM to 5:30PM
Holiday: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
