Job Requirements
- University degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with different departments, faculty, and external partners is essential.
- Experience using Wix for website design, content updates, and overall site maintenance is essential.
- Ability to modify Wix templates, adjust layouts, and create visually appealing pages that align with company’s branding ensuring the website is fully responsive and looks great on all devices using Wix’s mobile editor.
- Knowledge of embedding social media feeds, linking to digital marketing tools, and ensuring seamless integration with email marketing platforms.
- Experience embedding videos, images, and interactive elements to enhance the website’s visual appeal and engagement.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Ability to create or coordinate visually appealing materials that align with the brand.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and publications simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all digital and print materials.
- Ability to be creative and innovative; to develop fresh and engaging content ideas for different platforms.
- Ability to quickly adjust to new trends, technologies, and communication strategies and solve problems that arise.
- Write Burmese and English fluently.
Job Descriptions
- Website Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the university’s website with accurate and engaging content, including news articles, announcements, event details, and academic program information.
- Design & Layout Improvement: Work with web designers or IT teams to enhance the visual appeal, usability, and navigation of the website, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
- Multimedia Integration: Ensure the website includes high-quality images, videos, and interactive content that align with AUY’s branding and communication goals.
- Content Creation & Management: Develop, edit, and manage engaging content for the university’s website, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), and print publications.
- Graphic Design & Branding: Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing brochures, booklets, flyers, and other promotional materials that align with AUY’s branding guidelines.
- Campaign Development: Assist in developing marketing campaigns to promote university programs, events, and initiatives.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with faculty, students, and administrative teams to ensure effective communication and branding consistency.
- Event Promotion: Support promotional efforts for university events, including designing and distributing marketing materials.
Working Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Holiday: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
