Job Description
• Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction and decoration projects.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Conduct material take-offs and pricing.
• Tendering:
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare comparison sheets.
• Contract Management:
• Assist in contract preparation and review.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor payments and claims.
• Provide regular cost reports and updates to management.
• Procurement:
• Liaise with procurement and project teams to ensure material and cost control.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for quotations and negotiation.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., Cost X, MS Project).
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Preferred Attributes:
• Experience with interior decoration or fit-out projects.
• Fluent in Burmese; English proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
