Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or contract administration
  • Ability to lead and manage a QS department, including supervising, motivating, and evaluating staff performance
  • Proficiency in preparing and verifying Bills of Quantities (BoQ), variations, progress claims, and final accounts.

 

 

Job Descriptions

  • To draw up vendor data management system, vendor qualification and evaluation system, bid management system and contract management system
  • Prepare and maintain variety of departmental records project drawings and reports
  • Evaluate work performance and motivate subordinate staff to obtain high productivity result and morale
  • Regularly meet with staff to exchange information review project status and individual goals and identifies new opportunities for improvement
  • Support finance department in preparing cash flow forecast of multiple concurrent projects
  • Support business development activities and project management team in client meeting to consult or negotiate with client to finalize engineering bill of quantities procurement and logistics procedure and logistics documentation of the projects
  • Support project management team with product supply and material specifications
  • Foresee project budget overruns and time overruns and report to project director to develop safeguarding measures or counter measure to protect the goal of company.
  • Prepare and manage request for proposals request for bids, request for quotes, request for information from suppliers’ vendors and subcontractors and maintain proper correspondences with vendors by department staff and prepare contracts
  • Research complies and summarize data and procurement related information
  • Evaluate bid and proposal to ensure cost effectiveness legality and compliance with required specifications.
  • Prepare purchase contracts purchase orders and award bids
  • Handle resolution of contract disputes
  • Prepare bill of quantities undertake cost analysis and cost control from bidding throughout the project implementation phases as required by project director and management
  • Lead in procurement function in sourcing qualification interview/assessments evaluations of subcontractors locally and internationally
  • Valuing completed works to verify for payments to subcontractors according to time schedule and milestone
  • Support project team with advice on contractual claims to clients as well as handling claims from subcontractors.
  • Responsible for measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract for agreement of milestone payments and the final accounts
  • Support in bidding function to go survey, material delivery schedule operation budgets putting together a quotation preparation for project.

 

Working Hours: 8:30AM ~ 5:00PM

Holidays: Saturday & Sunday, Public Holidays
