Position Summary:
- To manage and grow a portfolio of agency teams while directly leading and developing a group of insurance agents. This role requires strategic portfolio oversight and hands-on agency management to drive recruitment, productivity, and overall channel performance.
Responsibilities:
1.Portfolio Management
- Manage a portfolio of group leaders and agencies to ensure target achievement.
- Analyze sales and recruitment KPIs across multiple teams; identify trends and areas for support.
- Develop strategic interventions to close performance gaps and improve agent engagement.
2.Direct Agency Leadership
- Personally, lead and manage a team of agents or a specific group of agencies.
- Conduct regular field coaching, joint sales visits, and motivational sessions.
- Oversee daily agent activities, campaign rollouts, and contest participation.
3.Recruitment & Development
- Lead agent recruitment for both your direct team and portfolio wide.
- Ensure new agents and group leaders complete licensing and onboarding.
- Support continuous learning, skills development, and succession planning.
4.Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track daily/weekly/monthly performance metrics (e.g., sales premium, persistency, activity).
- Prepare consolidated performance dashboards and present updates to senior management.
- Recommend improvement strategies based on data insights.
5.Retention & Engagement
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with agents and leaders.
- Drive retention through consistent recognition, support, and follow-up.
- Re-engage inactive agents with customized support plans.
6.Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between field teams and central departments (training, ops, and marketing).
- Share field feedback for campaign or product refinement.
- Ensure alignment with Organization’s vision, values, and compliance standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Growth in portfolio premium and active agent count.
- Direct team sales performance and recruitment success.
- Agent and leader retention rate.
- Field coaching sessions conducted.
- Portfolio-level persistency and engagement rates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in agency management, sales leadership, or portfolio oversight.
- Strong communication, coaching, and data analysis skills.
- Proven ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, dashboards, and field tracking tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently for field support.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
