Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of costing, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in the dairy or food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP standards.
- Experience in production and operations
Job Discriptions
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and financial statements.
- Monitor and manage cost accounting related to raw milk, packaging materials, labor, and overheads.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
- Conduct inventory valuation, including physical stock take coordination and variance analysis.
- Track and reconcile production costs vs. actual expenditures.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable specific to the dairy supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and income tax.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams for budget monitoring and cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management for operational and strategic planning.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
